The following dogs have been released from their lives at the
ends of chains or in pens and are looking for their forever
homes. While all dogs have been rescued by Dogs Deserve Better,
we work with other rescue groups in order to find the best
possible homes for these dogs. In many cases, these dogs are
available for adoption through other rescue groups that we work
with closely.
CROSSPOST: Elizabeth is a special
needs dog that Dogs Deserve Better helped rescue from life in a
pen. She is now living inside and is available for adoption
through A Forever Home.
Elizabeth: Chow Chow Mix:
10 Years, 36 Pounds
Elizabeth has a neurological disorder that makes it difficult
for her to walk. Before being rescued, she lived her entire life
outside in a pen, where she developed heartworm as well as all
sorts of infections and parasites. All have been treated.
Elizabeth needs a home with carpet and few steps so she can walk
around easily. She is completely house trained. Come meet this
precious little girl and fall in love!
